Means  of  the  language  representation  of  the  cultural  component  of  the  concept  woman were singled out from the interview with P. Zagrebelnyi and considered in the  article. Attention was paid to the potential of the discourse for preserving and forming  the  Ukrainian’s  cultural  values  that  become  possible  by  virtue  of  the  journalists’  professional activity.

The article speaks about writer’s stand on moral principles of society development,  formation of consolidated Europe, and also his critics towards the government populist  demagogy. The  questions  of  urgency  of  discourse  approach  to  the  analysis  of  the  text  and  modern approaches to a definition of concept of a discourse and a discourse-analysis  are  considered  in  the  article.  Structural  peculiarities  of  interaction  between  various  types  of  discourses  are  revealed.  As  an  example  for  studying  the  interaction  and  the  discourses interference the analysis of the use of artistic text in journalistic materials of  modern periodicals of Vitebsk region is put.
